Advertising / Banner Management

When your organization is looking to manage campaigns of advertising online whether it be on your website or within a newsletter, you need a system to manage the results and rates of success for each of the different campaigns.

Advertising / Banner Management Inimit has researched the many different advertising solutions out there and have found some of the best technology which facilitates successful management of your advertising campaigns.

Most of the websites which we view every day have no idea how well a button or banner is working, or if it's even working at all! If you are one of the few who are able to track your results, and provide your advertisers solid figures of success, you can only be in a better situation to get more advertisers or change your campaigns to make them work for you.

Designated administrators can create and manage banner advertisements through a simple, easy to use interface which is available within the system. The features available to administrators include the ability to manage advertisers, modify banners, view reports of impressions and clicks, as well as numerous other features; some of which are outlined below.

Tracking

Websites which have invocated the banner system will display a banner ad that is tracked both on views and if they click. All statistics are reported in the database for advertisers to fetch themselves as well as for the administrator to view the totals of each advertiser.

Report Generation / Export

Within the system, you are able to create a report on the fly using various parameters to configure your report. Such as delimitation between columns, whether or not to use quotes around each value.

  • Global History
  • Campaign History
  • Advertiser History

Campaigns

Each advertiser can have multiple campaigns with different settings on each. If an advertiser purchases a million views or a thousand clicks for one campaign, this can be configured within each campaign.

Campaigns can also be configured in advance to be launched on a certain date and expire on another date.

An advanced feature allows you to set priority of the banners within this campaign. By defining a campaign to be high priority, it ensures that the ad views which are remaining are distributed evenly over the course of the day. You can set a limit of how many views to be displayed per day as these banners will get the highest priority.

Additionally, administrators can set a campaign to be of a lower priority allowing it to fill in where the high priority ads are not displayed. There can be a weight set to the low priority so if you have all of your campaigns set to low priority, you can set your favorites to a higher weight so that they get displayed at an increased rate over the others.

Banner Properties

For every banner that is created can also attach a weight level value to increase its priority of display when viewed from within that campaign.

Delivery Limitations and Capping

Advanced options to apply delivery options can be applied to each banner that is created to targeted a very specific market. For example, if you are trying to target all visitors who were referred by yahoo and have the English language setting in there browser you could define two limitations to accommodate this.
